The ReStiiizy is a color-customizable tube designed to replace an existing STIIIZY® brand Original Battery outer housing. The inner dimensions have been carefully calibrated to ensure the suction activation method functions and the entire Branded Product Pod Cartridge ecosystem remains fully compatible with the magnetic socket functionality.
This item does not include a battery assembly, no electronics, and no parts of any Branded Product.
What it does:
- Works with the battery's own geometry to slide-on and entirely replace an existing battery shell / tube / housing to firmly shield and retain the internal electronics assembly.
- Fully functional with Branded Product Pod Cartridge ecosystem.
- Reusable; carefully remove and reinstall on a new battery assembly.
- Makes batteries easy to identify, sort, track, and customize.
- Gives new life to old or damaged batteries.
- Replaces metal with plastic, making older electronics safer to handle.
- Great for organization, inventory, “don’t mix these up” scenarios, and customizations or R&D .
- Adds light duty drop protection.
- Adds rapid customization options.
Requirements:
- Review safety recommendations.
- Battery assembly must be freely able to slide out of the existing housing. This often happens naturally for older units. If your battery assembly remains firmly in place within the housing assembly, see our "Battery Housing Removal Kit"
To Install:
1. Align the battery electronics with the housing body.
2. Gently press and slide the battery assembly into the housing until the lower charger plate is firmly seated against the bottom face of the housing.
3. Enjoy easy housing swaps and customization.
To Remove:
1. Use our "Battery Housing Removal Kit" to separate the inner battery assembly from the outer housing. If not using our tool, take extreme caution when pressing on any battery components and avoid touching any internal electronic components.
3. Fully slide out the battery electronics assembly.
4. Store for later use (see our "ReStiiizy Store and Recycle Kit"), or reinstall on another battery.
5. Enjoy easy housing swaps and customization.
Material
- PLA (3D printed) - rigid and lightweight.
- Avoid leaving product in high heat (hot cars / direct sun), as PLA can soften at elevated temperatures.
- ReStiiizy may scuff or damage Branded Product with use. Take extreme caution.
